Geçtiğimiz hafta, Barack Obama burayı ziyarete gelmiş. Beni görmek istediği haberi geldi, ama o aralar biraz rahatsız olduğum için buluşamadık. Onun yerine buradaki diğer Türk’lerle tanışabileceği mesajını ilettim kendisine. Sağolsun beni kırmadı. Hazır şehir merkezindeki Türk hediyelik eşya satan dükkana gelmiş iken, diğer etnik dükkanlara da uğramayı unutmamış.

As many of you know, I currently live in Canada’s Capital, Ottawa.
Last week, Barack Obama came to visit here. I received his message that he wanted to see me, but we unfortunately couldn’t make it as I was not feeling very well then. I recommended him to meet with other Turks here instead. He never turns me down. He also stopped by some other ethnic shops while he was visiting the Turkish souvenir shop.
Such a thoughtful guy.
